How to Choose Slides and Sandals
FITORY Featured footwear spans men’s thongs and cork slides, women’s fashion slides and cork flats, kids cork slides, Mary Jane knits, work loafers, garden clogs, ankle booties, knee boots, and stilettos. Pick the setting first, then footbed language (thong, cork, EVA) and closed vs open styles.

1. Thong vs slide vs clog
Men’s flip-flops / thong sandals, arch-support cork slides with adjustable buckles, and EVA garden clogs are different footbeds. Beach days favor thongs; all-day casual walkers often prefer cork slides; garden and chore wear leans EVA clog.
Checklist
- Setting chosen (beach, casual, garden, work, dress)
- Open slide vs closed shoe decided
- Adult vs kids parent confirmed
2. Arch / cork language
When the title mentions cork or arch support—men’s cork slides, women’s cork footbed flat sandals, faux-fur cork slides—treat that as the differentiator, then confirm size on the shop page.
3. Women's flats and loafers
Mary Jane knit ballet flats (square toe, ankle strap) and non-slip work loafers are closed or semi-closed daily shoes. Soft gold-buckle slides stay open-toe fashion pairs for warm weather.
4. Boots and pumps
Combat ankle booties (lace-up chunky platform), knee-high fold-over boots (pointed toe), and pointed stiletto pumps with ankle straps are occasion shoes. Check heel and shaft notes on each shop page before ordering.
5. Kids slides
Kids cork footbed slides are sized for children. Do not order adult cork slide parents for kids’ feet.
When to choose
- Beach → men’s thong sandals
- Arch-friendly casual → cork slides or cork flat sandals
- Work standing → non-slip loafers
- Garden → EVA clogs
- Night out → stilettos or knee boots as titled
Fit notes
Measure foot length against that parent’s size chart. Buckle slides let you micro-adjust width; thongs and fixed slides do not. Break in structured boots indoors before a long day. We have not wear-tested cushioning—lean on titled footbed and support wording only.
